Our client is a highly respected and growing organization seeking a Director, Human Capital to join its leadership team. This is a strategic HR opportunity for an experienced professional who is passionate about supporting employees, partnering with leaders, and driving people initiatives that contribute to business success.
THE ROLE
The Director, Human Capital will serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders and oversee a broad range of human resources initiatives across employee relations, performance management, talent development, organizational planning, and HR operations. This individual will play a critical role in fostering a positive employee experience while supporting the organization's growth and long-term objectives.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Partner with business leaders to provide guidance on employee and organizational matters
- Support employee relations initiatives and help resolve workplace concerns
- Advise managers on performance management, employee development, and talent planning
- Lead performance review, promotion, and succession planning processes
- Develop and enhance HR policies, procedures, and best practices
- Support workforce planning and organizational development initiatives
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations
- Drive employee engagement and talent management programs
- Collaborate with leadership on strategic HR projects and business initiatives
- Analyze workforce trends and recommend process improvements
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture
- Manage multiple HR priorities while providing exceptional support to stakeholders
THE CANDIDATE
- Bachelor's degree required
- 10 years of progressive Human Resources experience
- Strong background in employee relations, performance management, talent development, and HR business partnering
- Experience advising leaders and navigating sensitive employee matters
- Knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Strong business judgment and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to influence stakeholders across all levels of an organization
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborative, proactive, and solutions-oriented mindset
- Experience within professional services, financial services, corporate, or other high-performance environments is a plus
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
- Base salary of $175,000-$200,000
