Heating Air Conditioning Service Technician

What You'll Do

As an HVAC Service & Start-Up Technician, you'll play a key role in installing, commissioning, servicing, and maintaining commercial HVAC systems across a designated region. Your responsibilities will include:

• Performing preventative maintenance and diagnosing mechanical issues.
• Troubleshooting, repairing, and servicing commercial HVAC equipment.
• Completing HVAC system start-up, commissioning, calibration, and performance verification.
• Ensuring systems meet design specifications, industry standards, and project requirements.
• Documenting operational data and commissioning results.
• Maintaining compliance with safety standards, project specifications, and company procedures.
• Building and maintaining excellent customer relationships through exceptional service.
• Providing weekly updates on service calls, warranty work, labor, materials, and project progress.
• Supporting installation teams on active job sites when service work is not scheduled.
• Assisting with additional duties as needed.

What We're Looking For

• 5 years of HVAC service experience required (10 years preferred).
• Strong experience with commercial HVAC troubleshooting, start-up, and commissioning.
• Working knowledge of IECC, ICC, ASHRAE standards, local building codes, and construction safety practices.
• EPA Certification required.
• OSHA 30 Certification preferred.
• Active Journeyman or Master HVAC License preferred.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other office software.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned region as needed.
• Strong communication skills with a customer-first attitude.
