We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Construction Office Manager to oversee the administrative operations of our custom home construction projects. Duties
- Manage daily office operations, including front desk responsibilities, filing, and general clerical tasks to maintain an organized workspace
- Coordinate project schedules, meetings, and deadlines using calendar management tools to ensure timely completion of tasks
- Managing deliveries, and ensuring timely procurement of supplies and services
- Supervise administrative staff and coordinate training & development initiatives to foster team growth and efficiency
- Handle bookkeeping duties such as invoicing, expense tracking, QuickBooks data entry.
- Support budgeting efforts by monitoring project expenses and preparing financial reports for management review
- Manage human resources functions including employee records, onboarding new team members, and maintaining compliance with company policies
- Assist with event planning for project milestones or company gatherings to promote team cohesion and morale
- Maintain accurate project documentation through filing systems and digital records management
Experience
- Proven experience in office management within a construction or related industry environment
- Supervising experience with a focus on team leadership and development
- Strong proficiency in QuickBooks
- Demonstrated ability to manage schedules effectively using calendar management tools
- Experience in vendor management, contract negotiations, and procurement processes
- Knowledge of human resources procedures including onboarding, employee records management, and compliance
- Familiarity with office experience including front desk duties, filing, and clerical tasks
- Background in construction management is a plus
- Excellent communication skills paired with organizational skills to handle multiple priorities efficiently
