We are currently seeking a passionate and detail-oriented individual for the full-time Insect Supervisor position in our Insect Department. In this role, you will help lead the production of healthy feeder insects and ensure consistent inventory levels are maintained to meet customer demand.
Your primary responsibilities will include overseeing the production of Dwarf White isopods, Springtails, Beetles, Roaches, and Fruit Flies. This position is ideal for someone who is enthusiastic about insect care, sustainability, and working in a hands-on, fast-paced environment. Full-time, 40 hours per week
Training Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9 am - 5:30 pm
Regular Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9 am - 5:30 pm-
$15.25/hour Starting Wages (update starting wage if applicable)

Day-to-day tasks include:

Oversee the production of Dwarf White isopods, Springtails, Beetles, Roaches, and Fruit Flies

Forecast and maintain materials needed for current and future microfauna and feeder production

Ensure gross profit goals are met through efficient production practices

Enforce SOP standards and maintain quality control
-
Lead, manage, and hold accountable (LMA) while driving continuous improvement in operations
-
Familiar with spreadsheets and basic technology tools
-
Leadership and team management experience in a production environment

Proven ability to manage projects from concept to completion

Strong team-oriented mindset and collaborative spirit

Willingness to work hard and get hands-on in a fast-paced setting

Familiarity with the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS)

Prior experience in invertebrate or feeder insect production

Integrity - identifying a production issue and working diligently to solve it, owning any mistakes made personally/by the team that would impact production or gross profit, and taking steps to solve it
