What are the responsibilities and job description for the Barista position at Josephine's Coffee Bar?
Josephine's Coffee Bar is seeking a skilled Barista to join our team.
Must be available for a minimum of 2- 3 shifts on the following days 6am-3pm Tuesday to Saturday. Must be available Saturdays.
We are looking to hire and start training immediately.
We are closed on Sundays and Mondays.
Starting at$13.00 per hour plus CASH tips ($70-140 cash tips per shift average)
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks following company recipes
- Provide excellent customer service, including taking orders and handling payments
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Restock inventory and ensure proper rotation of products
- Operate espresso machines and other equipment efficiently
- Upsell products and promote specials to customers
Requirements:
- Barista Experience required!!!!!
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with customers in a friendly manner
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Proficiency in using Point of Sale (POS) systems for order processing
