Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Senior Clinician / Associate Director based in Boston, MA. The role involves overseeing clinical operations, supervising clinical staff, and ensuring delivery of high-quality substance use and mental health services. Responsibilities include developing and implementing treatment plans, providing clinical assessments, offering counseling, and conducting outreach and education. The Senior Clinician / Associate Director will actively engage with individuals and families to support their goals and address barriers to positive change.
Duties
- Monitor and instill professional accountability by modeling individual and organizational standards with staff.
- Participate in recruitment and hiring of new staff members.
- Provide clinical supervision to assigned staff and graduate school interns to ensure that treatment interventions are culturally sensitive, comprehensive and comply with all State and Federal regulatory standards.
- In coordination with management and staff, conduct evaluations of staff skills, experience, and professional development needs.
- Maintain a prorated caseload and provide treatment to those seeking clinical services from the Collaborative.
- Maintain clinical records in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations applicable to behavioral health and substance use treatment services.
- Remain current for all appropriate licensing and certification requirements.
- Liaise with community non-profits and partners, and act as representative of the Center at community functions as needed.
- Develop program, billing, and demographic reports as necessary for the Board of Directors in coordination with the Executive Director.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Independently licensed in the state of Massachusetts: LICSW, LMHC
- Supervision experience preferred
- Knowledge and experience in substance use and mental health treatment
- Demonstrated skills in clinical supervision, case management, and individualized treatment planning
- Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with community outreach, education, and support services
- Knowledge of local and state resources and best practices in mental health and substance use care
- Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in service delivery
