Job Summery:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team in a warehouse cooler. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient warehouse operations, including order fulfillment, shipping and receiving, and inventory management. This position requires a strong ability to stay physical for several hours, take 20,000-30,000 steps per shift, attention to detail, the ability to work in an average 34-degree cooler, the ability to lift 60 lbs safely, manipulate 200 lbs safely, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Shift times: 7pm to 3am or done.
Responsibilities:
- Operate various warehouse equipment, including but not limited to pallet jacks, forklifts, and riding pallet jacks to move products efficiently.
- Perform order picking and build pallets to fulfill customer orders accurately and timely.
- Assist with shipping and receiving activities, ensuring all incoming and outgoing shipments are processed correctly.
- Maintain an organized stock within the warehouse, ensuring that products are processed on a first-in, first-out basis.
- Collaborate with the warehouse supervisor to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency.
- Adhere to all safety protocols while working in the distribution center to maintain a safe working environment.
Experience:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience operating warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and riding jacks is a must.
- Strong organizational skills.
- A team player who can work collaboratively with others while also being self-motivated.
