JOB DESCRIPTION: Your position will include:
PRIMARY GOALS
[PATIENT APPOINTMENT MANAGEMENT]
Schedule appointments ( by phone & in person )
Confirm appointments
Rearrange appointments to fill any last minute openings in book
Contacting and Follow-up on missed appointments
Two-way text communication
Patient Follow-up phone calls from TO DO section of patient record
[RECEPTIONIST & PHONE SKILLS]
Greet patients when they sign in
HIPAA Registration
Update Insurance card and patient demographics
Keep reception area clean, stocked & in order
Keep restroom in order
Answer telephone lines & questions from these calls
Screen Incoming calls for Doctors
Check Office E-mail each work day
Check answering service.
Two - way Text communication
[CLERICAL]
Process incoming and outgoing mail
Process incoming and outgoing faxes
In Office printing (including but not limited to office brochures, business and appointment cards)
Assist Doctor in personal or civic related correspondence.
Assisting in statement and recall mailings
Order supplies
Keep Manufacturers Safety Data Sheets current.
[OPTICAL & DISPENSARY]
Frame Styling, Adjustment & Repair
Keeping Optical stocked
Inventorying new product for optical
Use of Lensometer
[OTHER]
Billing Exam Services
Billing and ordering glasses and contact lenses
Office cleaning
Assisting any Team Member
Special assignments from Doctors, Practice Manager or Team Leaders
PLEASE NOTE: To maximize your on boarding experience, we may schedule your initial training at both our Harrisville and Salem locations. Our live interviews are done outside of the patient care day, typically after 4 PM or on the weekend. Live interviews are conducted at our Salem clinic.
