Overview
At Jordan Power Cleaning Equipment, a leading supplier of industrial cleaning equipment and surface preparation equipment, we are seeking an experienced Mechanic to join our new branch in, FL. With 44 years of experience and headquartered in Tallmadge, Ohio, we have established ourselves as a reputable company with four locations across Ohio (Toledo, Columbus, Cleveland, and Tallmadge). As we begin to expand our reach to Florida, we are looking for a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team and help us continue to provide top-notch customer service and quality equipment. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing repairs and maintenance on various types of equipment, including but not limited to, floor scrubbers, sweepers, and pressure washers.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment to ensure maximum uptime and longevity.
- Use diagnostic software to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed.
- Service and maintenance of customer equipment, both in shop and at customer locations.
- Order and maintain inventory of parts and supplies.
- Repair, inspect, and maintain rental equipment.
- Perform safety inspections on company vehicles.
- Search parts and create estimates
- Instruct customers on how to operate equipment and the safety and maintenance of equipment.
- Support preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
- Communicate effectively with branch managers, and sales team.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a mechanic in the industrial or commercial equipment industry
- Knowledge of hydraulics, electrical systems, and internal combustion engines
- Ability to use diagnostic equipment and software
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Positive attitude and excellent work ethic.
- Professional appearance.
- Bilingual (Preferred but not required)
Benefits:
- $20.00-$26.00 an hour based on experience.
- Weekly PTO accrual that is available to use after 90 days

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
