Ecommerce Lead
This is a varied role working across B2C, Marketplace retail sites and Amazon.
The role will cover online store management, new item set-up, optimization, reporting and digital marketing campaigns.
You will support the process of ecommerce activity, collaborating with marketing, sales, planning and IT. The Ecommerce Manager must be proactive, ability to plan for growth, as well as execute daily operational tasks. Must have a strong understanding of the digital retail environment and consumer-centric strategies.
- Develop and execute ecommerce strategies in collaboration with Sales and Marketing to increase online sales and maintain margin targets.
- Regularly audit and analyze e-commerce platforms to ensure accuracy, currency, and quality of content across various categories. Resolve any errors and ensure proper merchandising. Contribute to optimizing navigation for improved product discovery. Conduct market and competitor research to identify growth opportunities and incorporate ecommerce trends and platform updates into strategies.
- Curate and manage product updates and new collection launches, ensuring accurate product details, pricing, and selling performance. Oversee the launch process from product uploads to sponsored ads.
- Use reporting tools to prepare weekly reports, identify trends, analyze sales data, and find opportunities to enhance the e-commerce experience. Forecast potential impacts of proposed changes
- Address and resolve any technical issues to ensure a seamless customer experience. Manage customer inquiries and reviews across platform Assist with regular updates and optimizations for on-site Sponsored Ads and other digital marketing campaigns.
- Track KPIs and optimize digital marketing campaigns
- Administer Salsify workflows to ensure proper product content for ecommerce platforms
Requirements:
3 years of ecommerce and digital marketing experience
Deep working experience with Salsify (PIM system)
Hands on familiarity with integrations in ecommerce platforms
Ability to analyze and report customer data and sales trends and make data-driven decisions
Ability to develop annual plans and solutions to grow online sales
Excellent project management skills with competing priorities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proactive mindset with the ability to solve problems and executea
