Job Title: Cutting Machine Operator

Job Purpose: As a Cutting Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC machines to produce precision pieces and components. Your primary objective is to ensure the efficient and accurate operation of the machines while adhering to quality standards and safety protocols.

Classification: Non-exempt, Full Time, Operations

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

End of line operations

• Batching

• Assemble and Fill boxes with product

• Retrieve necessary product needed for task

• Cut to Length Machine Operator

• ESCO and Foam Saw Operator

• Fabric Cut Table Machine Operator

• Materials Coordination of Foam Buns from Storage

• Forklift Certification

• Materials Coordination of Fabric Rolls from Storage

• Adhere to company policies and maintain a high standard of work ethics.

• Follow all safety guidelines, procedures, and regulations to ensure a safe work environment.

• Report any machine malfunctions, maintenance needs, quality concerns, or safety concerns to the supervisor.

• Work closely with team members to achieve production targets and ensure a cohesive and harmonious work environment. Effective communication is essential for success.

• Verify product is within quality specifications.

• Retrieve necessary product needed for task.

• Read and accurately interpret measurements using a tape measure.

• Read and interpret work orders.

• Performs other duties as required.

Required Qualifications

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• No prior experience necessary

Preferred Qualifications

Experience

• Previous experience operating CNC machines or related machinery is preferred.

Working Conditions

Environment

• This position works exclusively in a factory production floor environment with exposure to typical factory hazards such as loud noises, heat, and cold.

Essential physical requirements

• This position requires physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy materials when required.

• Employees performing the tasks essential to this position will regularly be expected to lift items weighing up to 30 pounds.

• This position may require employees to work overtime, weekends, and nights depending on production needs.

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
