CNC Machinist - VMC (Vertical Machining Center)

Preferred candidate will be experienced in a diverse, fast-paced, job shop environment, doing their own setups and editing programs with each new order. This is not a production position. Ability to anticipate and strategically plan each machining process and configure setups to avoid or correct inaccuracies, while preserving machine wear and efficiency is a MUST.

Right now, Jordan Machine is actively recruiting for our CNC Horizontal Boring Mill with an immediate opening. In Jordan’s job shop environment, each assignment requires new setups and skillful techniques. Therefore, the successful candidate will have:

• Experience in independent operation of CNC Vertical Machining Centers.
• Experience in all aspects of machine tool operation and quality monitoring.
• Experience in all aspects of machine setup including part location and tool calibration.
• Knowledge of G-Code editing required.
• Excellent blueprint reading skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $40.00 per hour
