We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced litigation associate with a minimum of three years of relevant experience to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will be confident handling a wide range of litigation tasks independently and will bring strong courtroom and pretrial experience to the role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day litigation activities with minimal supervision.
- Conduct and defend depositions with confidence and strategic insight.
- Draft and argue motions in court, including dispositive and procedural motions.
- Handle pretrial matters including discovery, case strategy, and client communications.
- Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on complex litigation matters.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Active bar membership in Louisiana.
- Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience, preferably in a law firm setting.
- Demonstrated ability to take and defend depositions.
- Proven courtroom experience, including oral argument.
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines independently.
