Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the design of landfill cells, closures, and leachate collection, treatment, and disposal systems.
- Support the development of gas collection systems, groundwater monitoring networks, and stormwater controls for solid waste facilities.
- Participate in permitting efforts, master planning, and financial analyses such as cost estimating and rate studies.
- Prepare drawings, technical reports, and permit applications under the guidance of experienced engineers.
- Contribute to project modeling, data analysis, and field reviews to ensure practical, regulatory-compliant solutions.
- Support quality control efforts, ensuring all deliverables meet company, industry, and client standards.
- Communicate project progress to supervisors and meet deadlines for assigned tasks.
- Education: BS in Engineering from an accredited college or university.
- Registration: Engineer Intern (EI)
- Experience: No prior experience required; 1-year student internship or a master’s degree preferred.
- Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with Esri ArcGIS, stormwater modeling software, or AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred.
- Other: Valid driver’s license with acceptable MVR.
