Great opportunity to become a leading member of a young, dynamic company! The Oxygen Concentrator Repair Technician is required to to service, maintain, and repair oxygen concentrators used in nursing homes and healthcare facilities.
This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with strong mechanical skills who is comfortable troubleshooting equipment and working both in a shop with minimal supervision. The individual should be competent in the use of all applicable test equipment and tools required in the performance of these duties. The employee plans and carries out successive steps and resolves problems and deviations in accordance with the equipment manufacturers instructions, the healthcare systems policies, and accepted practices.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance and inspections on oxygen concentrators
- Diagnose and repair equipment issues (mechanical and electrical)
- Replace components such as compressors, sieve beds, valves, filters, and circuit boards
- Test oxygen purity and overall unit performance
- Ensure all equipment meets manufacturer and safety standards
- Document repairs and service activity accurately
- Prepare units for delivery and return to service
- Assist with pickup and delivery of equipment as needed
- Maintain tools, parts inventory, and a clean work environment
Qualifications:
- Mechanical or technical experience required
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment
- Basic electrical knowledge
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Valid driver’s license required
