We are a Plymouth, MA CPA firm and we are seeking a Tax Preparer to join our team.
The ideal candidate brings 2-3 years experience doing accounting work and preparing tax returns in a public accounting firm.
We seek a motivated, detail-oriented professional eager to develop their skills and grow within the firm.

Our firm provides income tax preparation and planning, trust and estate tax preparation, assurance and advisory services, and accounting services.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare state and federal income tax returns
- Personal and entity tax preparation
- Bookkeeping
- Identify and gather information needed to complete tax returns
What You’ll Bring:
- Experience: 2-3 years experience in a public accounting firm doing accounting work and preparing individual and entity taxes.
- Communication – Good interpersonal skills and enjoy interacting with both clients and colleagues.
- Organizational skills – detail oriented and able to prioritize work and complete tasks with accuracy.
- Highly motivated – Eager to learn and a desire to grow within the role.
- Working knowledge QuickBooks Online and Desktop, and tax software (we use Ultra Tax) required

Standard hours:
- Standard office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays. During busy season, some longer days and Saturdays are required.
