Jolly Roofing & Contracting Co., LLC. is a leading regional commercial roofing contractor committed to quality craftsmanship and exceptional service. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated Technician Helper to support our roofing technicians on job sites throughout the Memphis area.
Position Overview:
The Technician Helper will assist experienced roofing technicians in daily operations, ensuring job sites are prepared, equipment is maintained, and projects are completed safely and efficiently. This entry-level position offers excellent opportunities for career development and hands-on experience in the commercial roofing industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with installation and repairs of various commercial roofing systems (TPO, EPDM, metal, etc.)
- Load, unload, and move roofing materials and tools
- Remove debris and old roofing materials from job sites
- Help set up ladders, scaffolding, and safety equipment
- Use hand and power tools as needed
- Maintain clean and safe job sites
- Follow instructions from supervisors and senior roofers
Qualifications:
Comfortable working at heights and outdoors in various weather conditions
Basic knowledge of construction or roofing is helpful but not required
Ability to work as part of a team and follow safety guidelines
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions
