Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Use provided hand tools (primarily box cutter or razor blade) to remove flash from rotational molded plastic products
• Transporting product/balls between work areas
• Ability to effectively work and communicate as part of a team
• Other job duties are:
• Trimming
• Assembling
• Packaging
• Boxing
• Labeling
• Duties may require use of small hand power tools
• Assemblers must be quick, organized, adaptable to change and always focused on safety & quality
• Controls scrap and waste to the best of his/her ability
• Works toward meeting company-established efficiency goals
• Inspecting quality of finished goods
• Maintaining a clutter free, clean work area
• Ability to work overtime when required
• Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor
• Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Must be able to distinguish the difference in colors
• Must be able to perform simple math functions
• Ability to work both independently and within a team to carry out assignments to completion
• Familiarity with manufacturing environment and simple tools- some previous experience in a manufacturing environment required
• A self-starter who can multi-task
• Reliable transportation
• Daily duties may require lifting 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
• Able to stand for 8-10 hour shift
