Job Type: Part-time; flexible hours/set schedule
Hours Per week: 25-35 hours; 3-4 days a week
Salary: Competitive hourly rates dependent on level of experience = ~$19/hour

The Jolly Bean Cafe is a limited service cafe located in Plymouth, MA. We host a large selection of unique breakfast and lunch menu items. We pride ourselves in providing high quality customer service. We serve foodies and coffee enthusiasts searching for fresh, high quality, and expertly crafted foods and specialty coffee beverages.

Job Description
Jolly Bean Cafe is seeking a self motivated individual and team player to join our team and support our kitchen in its daily operations. The kitchen staff must be an organized multitasker able to thrive in a fast paced work environment.

Responsibilities

• Follows opening and closing procedures for the kitchen
• Ensures production of food in a sanitary and timely manner
• Maintains a clean and sanitary work environment by assisting with general kitchen organization and cleanliness
• Follows recipes and ensures food quality and taste
• Fulfills customers orders with precise attention
• Operates standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Restock items as needed throughout the shift
• Adheres to all sanitation and food production codes
• Perform other tasks related to kitchen operation as needed

Requirements

• Comfortable completing tasks as assigned to ensure daily kitchen operations
• 1 years working in a kitchen/restaurant environment preferred
• Ability to multitask
• Ability to accept and follow clear directions
• Knowledge and observation of safe food handling and practices preferred
• ServSafe certification training is available
• Food Allergen Awareness certification training is available
• Choke Saver / AED Certificate training is available
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
