Overview:
The Hospice Branch Director is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a hospice branch. Essential Functions:
- Oversee daily operations of the hospice branch.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and standards.
- Supervise and support clinical and administrative staff.
- Manage branch budgets and financial performance.
- Coordinate with referral sources and community partners.
- Ensure quality and timely documentation of patient care.
- Monitor patient satisfaction and implement improvement plans.
- Participate in strategic planning and organizational development.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date organizational charts and records.
- Investigate and resolve complaints and incidents involving patient care.
Job Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, nursing, or related field required. Master’s degree preferred.
- Must meet state requirements for hospice administration.
Licensure:
- Current license as a registered nurse (RN) in Texas and/or adherence to the Board of Nurse Examiners rules for the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
- Current Driver’s License.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of management experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in hospice or home health.
- Experience with regulatory compliance and staff supervision required.
- Minimum of 2 years of HomeCare HomeBase EMR experience.
Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in EMR systems and Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of hospice regulations and standards.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Environmental and Working Conditions:
- Works in an office environment with occasional travel to patient homes and community events.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule and handle stressful situations professionally.

Salary : $90,000 - $95,000
