Position Summary
The Joint Chiropractic is redefining how healthcare is delivered: making it more accessible, affordable, and patient-focused. As we continue to grow, we are building an HR function that not only supports the business, but actively shapes how work gets done, with a strong focus on minimizing risk and ensuring compliance across a multi-state operation.
We are seeking an experienced and driven Human Resources Manager to lead our HR function and partner closely with our Operations team. This role plays a critical part in supporting employee performance, ensuring legal compliance, mitigating organizational risk, and fostering a strong, values-driven workplace culture.
This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is confident navigating complex employee situations, and can proactively identify and address risk across employee relations, compliance, and policy application. You will sit at the intersection of execution and improvement owning the day-to-day employee life-cycle while driving more effective, modern ways of working across the organization.
Success in this role comes from the ability to bring structure to complexity, simplify where needed, proactively mitigate risk, and consistently raise the standard of how HR delivers value.
What You’ll Do
- Champion and uphold company culture, core values, mission, and vision
- Partner with leadership on employee performance, including coaching, corrective action, and performance improvement plans
- Lead and support employee relations matters, including investigations, conflict resolution, and terminations
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws; update policies and employee handbook accordingly
- Develop and deliver training programs to support leadership effectiveness and employee growth
- Manage and execute annual compliance trainings
- Conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback to improve retention strategies
- Support workers’ compensation claims and employment-related legal matters
- Maintain HR systems, processes, and documentation, including job descriptions and employment verifications
- Partner cross-functionally (including accounting) on garnishments and related communications
- Support employee benefits education and enrollment to drive understanding and participation
- Establish and manage an anonymous employee reporting process
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve HR processes and elevate how the function supports the business
- Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support company growth

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2–4 years of leadership experience, ideally within Human Resources
- Experience in employee relations, performance management, and compliance
- Experience working in a fast-paced, multi-location or service-based environment is a plus

- Fully remote role with flexibility to support a distributed workforce
- Ability to work occasional evenings or weekends as needed and regular attendance necessary
- Ability to travel periodically for leadership meetings or operational support
