We are seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to oversee and manage commercial and/or industrial electrical projects from start to finish. This role is responsible for coordinating field operations, supervising crews, ensuring safety compliance, and delivering projects on time and within budget.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all on-site electrical construction activities
- Manage field crews, subcontractors, and project schedules
- Ensure compliance with NEC codes, safety regulations, and company standards
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project plans
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients
- Monitor project progress and resolve field issues efficiently
- Conduct safety meetings and enforce OSHA standards
- Order materials and manage inventory on-site
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in electrical construction (commercial/industrial preferred)
- Previous experience as a Superintendent or Foreman
- Strong knowledge of NEC and local electrical codes
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Ability to read blueprints and technical documents
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification (preferred)
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
