Hours of Job
Casual (Nights & Days)
Per Casual Policy (3-4 shifts/month with 2 being weekend with holiday requirement)
Duties and Key Responsibilities
Assists with Nursing Process.
Implements and documents clinical and technical aspects of care.
Assists in discharge planning.
Assists in patient/family teaching.
Assists in physiological, psychosocial, and spiritual care of the patients.
Performs other duties as required.
Requirements
Good interpersonal skills in dealing with patients, families, co-workers, and other customers.
Basic clinical skills delivering patient care and clerical skills in an outpatient setting.
Education/Certifications
Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Program or will be graduating within 6 months of hire
Certified Medical Assistant through AAMA or other certifying body as deemed acceptable by the Practice Manager or will obtain this credentialing within 6 months of hire
Experience
Previous medical/surgical background helpful.
