Responsibilities
- Install metal and wood stud framing
- Build exterior and interior walls
- Sheath floor, exterior, and roof
- Read and interpret blueprints and layout drawings
- Install doors, hardware, blocking, and finish materials
- Perform demolition and remodeling work if necessary
- Work safely and efficiently on commercial & residential construction projects
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional jobsite
Qualifications
- 3–6 years of commercial carpentry experience
- Experience with any aspect of carpentry(rough, finish, remodel)
- Ability to read blueprints and use a tape measure accurately
- Reliable transportation to jobsites throughout the Madison area
- Personal hand tools
- OSHA 10 certification is a plus
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to safety
Pay & Benefits
- $28.00–$39.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
- Weekly pay with direct deposit
