Carpenter

For more than 30 years, Keuler Fine Homes has built some of the finest custom homes in the Madison area. We keep our schedule deliberately small, six to eight homes a year, so nothing gets rushed and every detail earns its place. We're looking for a carpenter who wants their work to live up to that.

Tired of pouring real skill into your work and getting treated like just another set of hands? If your standard is woodwork that's clean, precise, and built to outlast you, finished so tight there's nothing left to fix, and you'd rather be surrounded by people who hold that same bar, you're the kind of carpenter we're after.

What you'd be doing

You'd be part of a small crew, working alongside people who take the craft seriously and still know how to have a good day on the job. Depending on the project and the phase, that means:

• From framing punch-outs to installing custom millwork and everything in-between.
• Reading plans and details closely, and flagging it when something on paper isn't going to work in the field
• Keeping a clean, organized, safe site

We don't expect any one person to be the best in the world at all of it. We do expect you to care about getting it right and to keep getting better at it.

You might be a good fit if

• You've got real carpentry experience and a track record you're proud of
• ·The ability to spot work and take initiative without being told every step
• You'd rather do it right than do it twice
• You read a tape to the sixteenth without thinking about it, and you can do the fractions in your head when you have to

Pay: $25.00 - $38.00 per hour
