Your Opportunity
As an Electrical Engineering Intern, you will support project teams in the planning, design, and execution of electrical systems across a variety of projects. This role offers hands-on experience and exposure to both office and field environments.
Responsibilities include:
- Assist in the development, design, and coordination of electrical engineering projects
- Develop feasible design alternatives and evaluate key parameters
- Identify and analyze principal electrical design features and assess potential solutions
- Support the preparation of plans, specifications, reports, schedules, and cost estimates
- Produce and revise electrical drawings, schematics, and layouts in accordance with project standards
- Review and analyze field data, notes, and calculations
- Research electrical codes, standards, specifications, and materials
- Expand knowledge of electrical equipment, systems, and industry practices
- Participate in professional development and training opportunities
- Gain field experience by observing project sites and construction activities
Qualifications & Skills
- Actively enrolled (sophomore, junior, or senior) in an Electrical Engineering or Engineering Technology program
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical drawings and complex documents
- Proficiency with computers and technical software
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
