Currently we are seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to join our growing team in Morgantown, PA, located just a mile off PA Turnpike exit 298.

The Compliance Manager will lead and coordinate cross-functional projects that support the company’s regulatory compliance, product safety, quality, and operational objectives.

Planning, organizing, tracking, and driving project execution across product development, testing, certification, documentation, supplier coordination, and regulatory readiness are essential components to this role. The Compliance Manager ensures that project milestones, deliverables, timelines, risks, and stakeholder communications are managed effectively while maintaining strict alignment with applicable compliance requirements and business priorities.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Project Management and Compliance Execution

• Lead compliance-related projects from initiation through completion, including project scope definition, milestone planning, task assignment, risk tracking, timeline management, and closeout documentation.
• Develop and maintain project plans for new product introductions, product changes, certification activities, regulatory updates, testing programs, labeling updates, and documentation initiatives.
• Manage multiple concurrent compliance and product lifecycle projects, ensuring deliverables are completed accurately, on time, and in alignment with business and regulatory requirements.
• Identify project risks, dependencies, resource constraints, and schedule conflicts; escalate issues and recommend mitigation actions to support timely decision-making.
• Oversee project status, action items, approvals, testing timelines, certification requirements, and implementation readiness using structured project management tools and reporting methods.
• Support compliance programs aligned with JPMA, NHTSA FMVSS, CPSC, ASTM, CPSIA, Prop 65, and other applicable regulatory frameworks by translating requirements into actionable project tasks.
• Monitor regulatory changes and support stakeholder needs by coordinating compliance reviews and implementation updates for instruction manuals, labels, marketing assets, customer communications, and related documentation workflows.

Stakeholder Support, Communication, and Training

• Serve as a central project communication point for compliance-related inquiries, deliverables, project status, training needs, and customer-facing documentation requests.
• Coordinate with Consumer Advocate team members, Child Passenger Safety groups, and internal stakeholders to plan and support training associated with new product introductions and compliance updates.

Experience, Knowledge & Education:

• Five (5) to eight (8) years of proven experience in product compliance within the durable consumer goods sector, with a preference in juvenile products.
• Regulatory Expertise: In-depth knowledge of JPMA certification, NHTSA FMVSS standards, and state-level regulatory requirements.
• Global Supply Chain Proficiency: Demonstrated experience with global supply chains and regulatory engagement.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, regulatory affairs, or a closely related field.

• Meeting Facilitation: Experienced in leading meetings, documenting decisions, tracking action items, and maintaining accountability.
• Detail-Oriented: Excellent attention to detail, documentation accuracy, and follow-through.
• Relationship Building: Skilled in building and maintaining strong partnerships with internal teams, suppliers, testing laboratories, and industry partners.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities, technical writing, and data-based decision support.
• Poise Under Pressure: Able to remain calm, organized, and effective in a fast-paced project environment.
• Continuous Improvement: Passionate about improving workflows, tracking methods, project visibility, and execution discipline.

Technology:

• Proficient use of Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
• Basic understanding of SolidWorks CAD software a plus.
• Effective use of third-party partner regulatory data portals such as SGS SMART & Intertek MTC to receive regulatory updates and to generate necessary compliance documents.
• Ability to provide compliance related information to stakeholders using established transfer methods such as NHTSA’s TREAD and EWR reporting, CPSC’s eFiling, etc.
• Experience in the use of project management software such as Asana, Wrike, SAP, etc..
• Able to proficiently learn new software with ease.

Other:

• Ability to work extended hours as business needs warrant, may on occasion include nights or weekends.
• Domestic and International travel as business needs warrant.
