We’re seeking an experienced Photo/Video Art Director with a strong background in culinary brands. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker and visual storyteller who can inspire clients, lead creative teams, and bring concepts to life through hands-on direction.
What You’ll Do
Creative Direction & Production
- Lead art direction for photography and video shoots, ensuring alignment with brand vision and creative strategy
- Translate briefs into compelling visual concepts, set designs, and on-set execution
- Collaborate closely with stylists, photographers, and production teams to achieve best-in-class results
- Guide shoots from pre-production through final delivery, maintaining high creative standards throughout
Concept Development
- Develop and communicate ideas using sketches, mood boards, tear sheets, and design templates
- Stay ahead of trends in culinary branding, food photography, and visual storytelling
- Ensure consistency across all visual outputs, including print, digital, and video platforms
Post-Production Oversight
- Review and guide editing processes to ensure final assets meet brand and quality standards
- Maintain visual consistency and excellence across all deliverables
What You Bring
- Strong portfolio showcasing art direction across print, digital, and video—preferably with culinary or food brands
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Design, Fine Arts, or related field
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), Capture One, and Microsoft Office (Mac environment)
- Ability to clearly communicate ideas visually and verbally
- Strong collaboration skills and experience working with cross-functional creative teams
- Excellent time management with the ability to handle multiple projects while meeting deadlines and budgets
- Strong presentation, communication, and organizational skills
