Shifts Available:
- Saturday – 10PM-6AM
- Friday–Monday 2-10PM, Wednesday 10PM-6AM
As a Customer Service Security Officer, your primary responsibility will be to provide JSB standard customer service while ensuring the safety and well-being of our clients, customers, employees, visitors, and guests. You will be the face of our organization, maintaining a professional demeanor and presenting yourself with confidence and poise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist visitors, provide directions, and deter loitering
- Respond immediately to emergencies, providing necessary support and contacting emergency services when required
- Patrol the site, ensuring a secure environment
- Write detailed incident reports and log book entries
- Protect our client's and company's assets from theft, assault, fire, or other safety issues
- Collaborate effectively with team members and work independently as needed
Requirements:
- 2 years of security experience
- 2 years of CCTV experience
- Valid New York State Security Guard License
- CPR & First Aid certification
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. required
- Flexible work schedule, including weekends
- Strong and Consistent Work Ethic
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Command of the English language and ability to communicate clearly
- Proficiency in using smartphones and tablets
- Professional demeanor and appearance
- Minimum age requirement of 18 years old (or as per state regulations)
- Authorized to legally work in the United States
- Successful completion of a drug test with negative results
- Pass an extensive background check, including criminal history, personal references, employment and education verification, as well as Department of Motor Vehicle and credit checks, if applicable
- If prior military, must be able to provide a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated, upon job offer
