Duties
- Operate snow plows, skid steers, loaders, shovels, and other snow removal equipment to clear parking lots, roads, and HOA's efficiently and safely.
- Assist with landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, planting, and garden care to keep outdoor spaces vibrant and healthy.
- Use hand tools and power tools for landscape installation, hardscape projects, and general groundskeeping.
- Perform routine lawn care including mowing, edging, aerating, and fertilizing to maintain lush lawns.
- Support tree care activities like pruning, trimming, and planting to promote healthy growth and safety.
- Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting, repairing, or installing components as needed.
- Conduct general maintenance of equipment and tools to ensure safety and optimal operation.
Skills
- Experience preferred—but we’ll train the right person with the right attitude and work ethic
- Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills
- Mechanical knowledge for operating landscaping machinery such as skid steers, excavators, power tools, and snow plows.
- Experience with lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, and horticulture practices.
- Familiarity with hand tools used in construction, hardscape installation, and landscape maintenance.
- Knowledge of lawn and plant care techniques including pruning and trimming for health and safety purposes.
- Ability to perform snow plowing efficiently in winter conditions while prioritizing safety protocols.
- Strong understanding of landscaping principles including irrigation systems and garden design.
- Excellent physical stamina for outdoor work in varying weather conditions; attention to detail is essential for quality results.
