About the Position
As a Commercial Roofing Sales Representative, you will work across Central Texas to identify new opportunities, perform roof inspections, and deliver tailored proposals to commercial clients. This role requires strong communication skills, technical understanding of roofing systems, and the ability to manage leads through a complete sales cycle. You will collaborate closely with estimating, operations, and service teams to ensure seamless project execution and outstanding customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business through referrals, networking, prospecting, and company-provided leads
- Conduct on-site roof inspections and accurately assess conditions and service needs
- Prepare and present clear, professional proposals and handle objections confidently
- Manage relationships through consistent follow-up and transparent communication
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth project handoff and execution
- Track all sales activity, pipeline status, and client communication in the CRM
- Support clients from initial inspection through project completion and follow-up
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and market conditions
- Work with the Commercial Operations Manager to set and achieve personal sales targets
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial roofing sales or relevant construction sales
- Track record of achieving or exceeding sales goals
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple leads and projects
- Tech-savvy and comfortable using mobile devices and CRM platforms
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record
- Ability to pass a background check
- Physically able to carry ladders, access roofs, and walk job sites safely
Preferred Qualifications
- 2 years of commercial roofing sales experience
- Knowledge of roofing systems including TPO, metal, mod-bit, coatings, etc.
- Existing network in property management or commercial construction
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- OSHA 10 or 30 Certification
- Experience with CRM platforms (DataForma preferred)
Working Conditions
- Primarily field-based with frequent travel to job sites and client locations
- Exposure to outdoor conditions and rooftop work
- Office work required for reporting, proposals, and meetings
- Flexible schedule may be needed to accommodate client availability
