What are the responsibilities and job description for the Family Law Litigation Associate position at Johnson Ritchey Family Law, PLLC?
Role Description:
This is a full-time litigator role in Boca Raton, FL with the option to work in-office and hybrid/remote. This position will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to family law, including but not limited to: managing and advising clients on legal proceedings, drafting legal documents, preparing for and conducting depositions, and representing clients in court.
Qualifications:
· Self-starter and team player with specialized knowledge and experience in family law and litigation
· Courtroom and trial experience
· Demonstrated experience in taking ownership of a client’s case – discovery, pleadings, motions, mediation, pretrial hearings, motion hearings, and trial
· Ability to identify and analyze legal issues related to family law cases
· Experience conducting depositions and drafting and filing legal motions
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with clients, staff, and other attorneys
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· Possesses excellent negotiation skills
Requirements:
· Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
· Florida Bar Licensed in Good Standing
· 3-7 years of family law experience
