Job description:
Responsibilities:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for school-age children.
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow.
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play-based learning.
- Collaborate with parents and other staff members to ensure the well-being and progress of each child.
- Monitor and assess the development of each child, identifying areas that may require additional support or intervention.
- Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive behavior and create a supportive classroom environment.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom, ensuring that materials are readily available for learning activities.
- Promote literacy education by incorporating storytelling, reading, and writing activities into daily routines.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children.
- Knowledge of early intervention strategies and special education practices.
- Strong behavior management skills to effectively address challenging behaviors.
- Ability to create a structured and engaging classroom environment.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Understanding of child welfare guidelines and regulations.
- Familiarity with classroom management techniques to promote a positive learning environment.
- Knowledge of literacy education principles and techniques.
