Job Duties: Lead and oversee medical affairs strategy for Neurodegeneration pipeline asset, focusing on the pre-launch activities for Alzheimer Disease, Parkinson’s Disease and ALS pipeline assets. Develop and execute high-quality medical affairs strategies that are cross-functionally aligned with world-wide partners across the Therapeutic Area for key assets. Collaborate closely with Global R&D, Market Access and Commercial functions on regionally aligned strategies for differentiation and medical adoption of pre-launch assets. Responsible for external engagement strategies, including product and disease area global advisory boards; coordination of medical symposia and congress activities; pre-approval access plans, KOL and PAG engagement strategy; collaborative research groups and/or pre-competitive consortia; and coordination with regional activity in these areas. Develop Global Evidence Generation strategies for specific assets. Actively contribute to the overall governance and strategy of the Global Medical Affairs Neuroscience Therapeutic Area, including programs, people and budget. Accountable for the design and execution of Global Medical Affairs PH3b or PhIV studies, including appropriate staffing and management of budget. Work with relevant Disease Area Leadership Teams (DALTs) and Senior Leaders across functions to give medical input into and shape global strategies for key assets in the Neuroscience Therapeutic Area to bring value to patients with best-in-class treatments. Provide technical and strategic expertise to ensure consistent processes, excellence in planning and delivery of medical affairs strategies for differentiation and medical adoption of all assets. Set performance goals for team and monitor results, ensuring timely performance reviews and performance feedback as needed. Responsible for recruitment, retention, and development of top Neuroscience talent.

May telecommute per company's policies (hybrid). 30% travel required (domestic & international).

Requirements: Employer will accept an MD or DO degree and 10 years of experience in the job offered or in a Director, Global Medical Affairs Lead, Neurodegeneration-related occupation.

Benefits

Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:

  • Vacation –120 hours per calendar year
  • Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado –48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington –56 hours per calendar year
  • Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays –13 days per calendar year
  • Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
  • Parental Leave – 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child
  • Bereavement Leave – 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year
  • Caregiver Leave – 80 hours in a 52-week rolling period10 days
  • Volunteer Leave – 32 hours per calendar year
  • Military Spouse Time-Off – 80 hours per calendar year
  • This position is eligible for benefits to include medical, dental, vision and time off, as well as any others as provided for in the applicable Collective Bargaining Agreement.
