What are the responsibilities and job description for the EXPERIENCED DME INSURANCE BILLER position at Johnson Drug & Home Medical?
Please note: We are seeking an in office experienced biller. This is not a work at home position or an outsourced billing position due to some of our ADDITIONAL job requirements.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
- DME Insurance Billing
- Customer service including fitting of equipment and direct sales
- Resolve billing problems and inquiries
- Answer, screen and forward incoming calls
- Prepare and follow up on customer orders as instructed
- Cross training to cover tasks and other job areas as assigned
- Key Competencies
- At least one (1) year of DME insurance billing experience in a provider setting
- Exceptional attendance, reliability and flexibility
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with focus on customer service
- Organized attention to detail, accuracy and prioritizing
Education and ExperienceJob Type: Full-timeThis position is Full Time, Monday through Friday and requires work rotations on Saturdays. We offer a competitive benefits package which includes: Vision, Dental, Life Insurance, 401k and PTO (paid time off).
- Minimum of one (1) year DME insurance billing experience in a provider setting
- Computer skills and knowledge of relevant software, Brightree prefered
- Knowledge of operation of standard office equipment and software (ie, word and excel)
- Knowledge of clerical and administrative procedures and systems
- Required education: Minimum one (1) year DME insurance billing
- Required experience: Clerical / administrative / Retail: 1 year
- Required licenses or certifications: CDME or CPB preferred
