Role Description
In this role, you will lead the accounts payable process from start to finish—ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments, preparing and posting journal entries, managing accruals, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards. You will collaborate closely with internal teams, trade partners, and vendors, contributing to streamlined systems and continuous process improvement.

Qualifications
- Strong foundation in finance and accounting, with a solid understanding of general accounting principles
- Knowledge of (WIP) reporting, percentage of completion and expense tracking cost v budget v actual on a project.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to review and interpret financial data
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial transactions
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and advanced skills in Excel
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external vendors
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- At least (5-7) years of experience in construction, home building, is a preferred
