NOW HIRING: HIGH-END FINISH / TRIM CARPENTER

We are looking for an experienced, highly skilled Finish/Trim Carpenter who takes exceptional pride in their work.

This position is for someone who understands that in finish carpentry, precision matters. We are looking for a true craftsman who can produce clean, consistent, professional results and has the experience to work independently without constant supervision.

Experience should include:

• Interior trim and finish carpentry
• Baseboard, casing and crown molding
• Door and window trim
• Hanging and fitting interior doors
• Accurate miters, returns, reveals and transitions
• Built-ins and other detailed finish work
• Working with higher-end materials and finishes
• Reading plans, measuring accurately and laying out work properly
• Identifying and correcting problems before they become costly mistakes

We are looking for someone who:

• Is extremely precise and detail-oriented
• Understands high-end finish standards
• Can make tight joints and clean cuts consistently
• Knows how to compensate for walls, floors and openings that aren't perfectly square
• Keeps their work area clean and protects finished surfaces
• Has their own professional-grade hand tools
• Is dependable and takes responsibility for the quality of their work
• Can work efficiently without sacrificing craftsmanship

This is NOT an entry-level position.

We are specifically looking for an experienced finish carpenter whose work speaks for itself. If "close enough" is part of your vocabulary, this probably isn't the right position. If you notice the 1/16" that everyone else misses, we'd like to talk to you.

Pay: Competitive and based on demonstrated experience and skill.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 30.0 per week
