Johnson Company is a long-established manufacturers’ representative firm partnering with world-class brands in electronics—wireless, sensors, switches, interconnects, power, and electro-mechanical solutions. We’re seeking to hire a Distribution Sales Manager to grow and expand our presence in the Midwest market.
Our represented manufacturing partners include world-class companies Silicon Labs, Amphenol Sensors, Littelfuse, TDK-Lambda, Hirose, Abracon, Knowles, LiteOn and more.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Key Function: Drive Sales Growth for each of our Manufacturer Partners via the distribution channel through overall management of our opportunity funnel, focus accounts, training, and relationship with our channel partners.
- Manage sales activities, monthly reports, and overall opportunity progression when partnering with the distribution network in territory.
- Develop and recommend new strategies and/or promotions to increase engagement with distribution channel and ultimately lead toward increased sales revenue.
- Build strong relationships with all distribution management and sales staff through regular visits, social activities, events, and promotions.
What We’re Looking For
- 2-years experience in electronic components, electro-mechanical systems, or similar field is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in related fields (marketing or business preferred)
- Clear, professional communicator – both written and verbal
- Detail-driven with accuracy and follow-through
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and/or CRM systems
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Based within 30 miles of Minneapolis/St. Paul—territory travel is mostly local
