Accounting Manager
Johnson Brunetti, a dynamic, fast-paced financial advisory firm, has a need for an Accounting Manager to assist the Controller as the Company continues to expand.
This is not a telecommuting position but will be based in the Company’s Wethersfield, CT office.
Duties & Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
1. Bi-weekly payroll submission and commission calculations.
2. Accounts receivable and accounts payable functions.
3. Cash management and account reconciliations.
4. Month end close and preparation of financial statements and various other reports.
5. Special projects and client tax preparation as needed.
Qualifications/Skills
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with internal team and external clients
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
3. Hands on experience with QuickBooks accounting software and MS office products
In addition,
Strong attention to detail with the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy
Ability to work with confidential data and respect the confidentiality of the books and records
Experience with and knowledge of individual tax preparation
Self-starter and eager to learn attitude
The most successful candidates will have the following:
- BS in Accounting and CPA or CPA candidate
- Minimum 3 years hands on accounting and tax experience
- Well versed in using QuickBooks
- Experience with Salesforce a plus
