What are the responsibilities and job description for the Preventative Maintenance Mechanic position at Johns Hopkins Medicine?
Suburban Hospital has an immediate opportunity for a Preventative Maintenance Mechanic. Non-exempt. Starting hourly rate is $22.75 to $37.53, based on experience (plus applicable shift differentials)
As Preventative Maintenance Mechanic, you will:
- Performs functions in keeping with safe hospital and industrial standards and practices.
- Will be required to work a varied schedule in keeping with the time schedule of the availability of the equipment to be maintained.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or GED.
Attendance at a trade school for in an electrical or HVAC program is preferred.
EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS:
- 1 year of experience in preventive maintenance preferred; experience in a hospital a plus.
Salary Range: Minimum /hour - Maximum /hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
