Location: Suburban Hospital, Bethesda, MD-Blood Bank
Day Shift / 7:00am-3:30pm- Full Time
General Summary:

Supervise and mentor laboratory staff, fostering a culture of safety, accuracy, and continuous improvement.

Oversee daily operational duties, data analysis, and reporting to ensure compliance with regulatory and institutional standards.

Manage laboratory resources, equipment maintenance, and supply inventory.
- Collaborate with cross-funtional teams to support organizaltional goals

Implement and monitor quality control procedures to maintain high data integrity.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Medical Technology or related discipline for Medical Technologist
- Documentation of minimum Laboratory CE points required per evaluation year
Experience:
- Three (3) years full time experience of Laboratory experience
- Strong Knowledge of laboratory safety protocols and regulatory compliance.
- excellent organizational,communication,and problem-solving skills.
Required Licensure, Certification, On-going Training:
- MT (ASCP), or equivalent, relevant to the discipline

Salary Range: Minimum 37.58/hour - Maximum 61.99/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
