As a Medical Office Assistant for Johns Hopkins Community Physicians, you'll:
- Provide excellent customer service to our patients at JHCP.
- Receive incoming and make outbound telephone calls to schedule appointments, process patient medication refills, process referrals, and take messages for the providers.
- Check patients in and out, collect copays, and respond to patient messages.
- Verify insurance and collect demographics.
What You'll Need to be Successful:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 2 years experience in healthcare or customer service preferred.
- EPIC experience is very helpful!
Location: 6410 Rockledge Dr., Suite 200 Bethesda, MD 20817 (Position will require travel to practices in Washington, D.C., Bethesda, Maryland and Columbia, Maryland)
Shift: Non-exempt. - Full-Time - 40 hours per week - Mon-Fri - 8:00 - 4:30 p.m.
Salary Range: Minimum 17.65/hour - Maximum 28.68/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
