What are the responsibilities and job description for the FLOOR CARE TECH Night Shifts (HCG) position at Johns Hopkins Medicine?
The Floor Care Technician, under general supervision, performs floor care stripping, refinishing and maintenance functions in addition to performing cleaning functions if required, to provide a clean, germ-free, environment for patients, visitors and staff. Patient rooms and discharge cleaning are a priority and a floor technician may be required to perform these functions if staffing levels require. Innovations improve work procedures and methods and primarily result in some time and cost savings. The job duties are to assist indirectly in providing patient care by insuring a safe, healthful, and pleasant environment. Work occasionally requires internal contacts outside the work group to exchange work-related information. Job duties do not require contact with external contacts.
Salary Range: Minimum 18.06/hour - Maximum 20.87/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
