Key Responsibilities
- Prepare dough, sauces, cheeses, meats, vegetables, and other pizza ingredients
- Assemble pizzas according to recipes, customer orders, and portion standards
- Operate pizza ovens and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Monitor cooking times and temperatures to maintain consistent food quality
- Inspect finished pizzas for proper cooking, appearance, and presentation
- Prepare and package dine-in, takeout, and delivery orders accurately
- Coordinate with kitchen and service staff to complete orders efficiently
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked cooking station
- Restock ingredients, toppings, packaging, and kitchen supplies
- Clean and sanitize workstations, utensils, ovens, and food preparation equipment
- Follow food safety, sanitation, hygiene, and workplace safety procedures
- Assist with opening, closing, and general kitchen duties
- Support kitchen operations during busy service periods
- Report food quality, equipment, or order issues to supervisors
Requirements
- Previous pizza, restaurant, cooking, or food service experience is an asset but not required
- Basic knowledge of food preparation and safe food handling
- Ability to follow recipes, cooking instructions, and customer orders
- Strong attention to detail and food quality
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Ability to stand for extended periods and safely handle kitchen equipment
