What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pizza Maker position at Johnny's New York Style Pizza?
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook pizzas according to specific recipes and customer requests
- Monitor food stock levels and replenish ingredients as needed
- Ensure that all food preparation areas are clean and sanitized
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Assist with other kitchen duties as assigned
Experience:
- Previous experience in a pizza restaurant or similar fast-paced food establishment is preferred
- Knowledge of basic math for measuring ingredients and calculating cooking times
- Familiarity with POS systems for order processing and payment handling
- Strong time management skills to ensure orders are prepared in a timely manner
- Ability to handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures
- Excellent customer service skills to interact with customers and take their orders accurately
- Understanding of food safety regulations and willingness to adhere to them
