Line Feeder 3rd Shift
Job Summary
Communicates and verifies with team members the production schedule run plan. Ensures correct materials are available and on time. Removes and isolates any mixed or suspect materials. Reports any shortages to management. Returns all materials and containers to proper location in orderly fashion. Operates train that transports finished goods and empty containers to and from assembly lines. Adheres to all safety measures. Maintains organization while performing essential duties and responsibilities. Other duties as required by Management.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Verifies production schedule run plan at start of shift.
- Communicate with associates in a professional manner.
- Verifies materials available and immediately reports any shortages to management.
- Remove and contact quality/production management about mixed or suspect materials.
- Stock machines and all auxiliary equipment with minimum supervision.
- Stages changeover materials in a timely manner.
- Removes components from line at changeover before introducing next run models components.
- Returns materials and containers to proper location.
- Operates train that transports finished goods and empty containers to assembly line.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Notifies management of any safety concerns.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Participate in LEAN manufacturing
2. Participate in Kaizen activities
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.59 - $23.95 per hour
