Key Responsibilities
- Operate CNC lathes, CNC Swiss lathes, and CNC multi-axis lathes to machine parts to specifications.
- Monitor machine performance and make minor offsets or adjustments to maintain part quality.
- Load and unload parts, tools, and materials per job order requirements.
- Utilize power and hand tools to perform finishing processes.
- Conduct quality inspections using precision measuring instruments to verify tolerances and part dimensions.
- Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions to determine machining operations and specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance and ensure work area remains clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
- Accurately record production data, measurements, and part counts.
- Collaborate with senior machinists, engineers, and supervisors to troubleshoot issues and improve machining processes.
- Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Complete job-related training as directed by management.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in machining preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience operating CNC machinery in a manufacturing environment.
- Basic understanding of G-code, tooling, and machining principles.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and mechanical drawings.
- Skilled in using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
- Strong problem-acknowledgement ability, mechanical aptitude, and commitment to producing quality work.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Physical Requirements
