Level A Automotive Technician - Used Car Reconditioning

We're a Buy Here Pay Here dealership in SW Houston, and we're very backed up right now - work keeps coming in faster than we can turn it around. We need a strong Level A technician who can lead and mentor our Level B and C techs while handling the hardest jobs in the shop.
WHAT YOU'LL EARN
- $30-$38/hour flag rate, confirmed at interview
- Weekly pay via ADP - get paid every Friday
- Steady, year-round workload - no slow seasons, consistent hours
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
THE SHOP & SCHEDULE
- Busy dealership service operation with a steady stream of inventory to work on
- Reports to the Service Director
- Schedule: Mon-Fri 8:30am-6pm, Sat 9am-2pm

WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Diagnose and repair a wide range of makes and models, including engine, transmission, electrical, suspension, steering, and cooling systems
- Run diagnostic scans and interpret fault codes accurately
- Lead and mentor Level B and C technicians, reviewing their diagnostic work and repairs
- Recondition used inventory to front-line ready condition
WHAT YOU NEED (Must-Haves)
- Strong hands-on diagnostic experience as an automotive technician at the Level A tier
- Proven ability to lead, coach, or mentor other technicians
- Your own tools
- Valid driver's license or State I.D.
- Reliable and self-managed
NICE TO HAVE (Not Required)
- ASE certification
- TX Inspection License
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Buy Here Pay Here or used car recon experience
