Jr. Manufacturing Engineer

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Use SolidWorks CAD software to optimize design using customer supplied drawings/models.
- Develop flat patterns (cam process)
- Verify incoming work orders for accuracy.
- Assist customers with design improvements.
- Provide detailed build drawings to production floor as required.
- Assist production with design and tooling issues.
- Manage change requests from customers and floor personnel and maintain controlled documentation.
- Review peer drawings and programs for accuracy.
Minimum Qualifications
- Associate degree or technical school certificate in related field of study.
- 1-3 years of SolidWorks CAD experience.
- Knowledge in CNC cutting equipment (also plasma, laser, waterjet cutting, etc.)
- Experience and/or knowledge of metal fabrication.
- Three years of programming experience in a manufacturing environment. (Can include internships)
- Technical skills to support position including Microsoft Excel.
