As a non-profit community hospital, Fitzgibbon Hospital is vital to the health and well-being of the communities it serves in the Marshall, MO and surrounding area. We are looking for a self-driven compassionate Radiation Therapist to join our Oncology department. We offer a competitive salary and benefit package.
Shift:
- Full-time - 80 hours every two weeks
- Monday - Friday 8am-4:30pm
- ARRT (RTT)
- BLS Certifications
- One year of recent Radiation Therapist experience preferred
- Strong communication and adaptability skills
- Excellent bedside manner and communication skills
- As a Radiation Therapist, you'll administer radiation treatments to patients, ensuring precise delivery of treatment plans for optimal care
- Administer radiation therapy treatments to patients according to prescribed treatment plans
- Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment, ensuring accurate and safe delivery of radiation doses
- Monitor patients during treatments, assessing their physical condition and reporting any adverse reactions
- Collaborate with radiation oncologists and other healthcare professionals to develop and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards and safety protocols
- Work with multidisciplinary staff within the department to care for patients
